Kang Wee Teck – Managing Director, Co-Chief Investment Officer and Founding Partner
Wee Teck is the Managing Director, Chief Investment Officer and founding partner of ALTAGE CAPITAL and has over 18 years of experience in G10 FX Sales and Trading, Structured Products origination and distribution as well as FX Advisory with international financial institutions, Citibank and Deutsche Bank, dealing mainly with Ultra High Net Worth, High net worth individuals and family offices. Before ALTAGE CAPITAL, he joined Zeitgeist Capital Asia as partner, primarily focused on G10 FX spot and options trading. It was in Zeitgeist Capital that he co-developed (with Mr Chia Soo Hian) the mainframe for ALTAGE CAPITAL's algorithmic trading system. Wee Teck received his Bachelor of Arts and Social Science degree in Economics and Statistics from the National University of Singapore in 2000.
Tang Kai Meng - Co-Chief Investment Officer, Managing Partner
Kai Meng is the Managing Partner and Co-Chief Investment Officer of ALTAGE CAPITAL and has more than 20 years experience in the financial industry, started his career as a fund manager focusing on managing South East Asia equity funds. He spent 18 years in the private banking, primarily as a Senior Investment Adviser to Ultra High Net Worth clients. Kai Meng received his Bachelor of Business (2nd Upper Honours) from Nanyang Technological University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) since 1999
Chia Soo Hian – Chief Operating Officer, Chief Technology Officer and Founding Partner
Soo Hian is the other Founding Partner, as well as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer for ALTAGE CAPITAL. He co-developed the mainframe for ALTAGE CAPITAL's algorithmic trading system. Soo Hian has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, providing consultancy services and development of customized IT solutions. Soo Hian was a project Manager at Defence Science & Technology Agency (DSTA) developing Command and Control Systems for SAF. Soo Hian is also an Associate Lecturer with Republic Polytechnic, focusing on programming courses such as PhP, Java, and web-based technologies. Soo Hian received multiple DSTA excellence awards and MINDEF Defence Technology award. Soo Hian is a proud recipient of the Public Service Commissions (PSC) Overseas Merit Scholarship and received his Masters of Engineering from Oxford University.
Mike Tiong - Advisory Board
With over 25 years of C-suites management and Corporate advisory experience, Mike Tiong is a highly experienced Awarded Winning PMC certified consultant. Apart from his vast exposure in business & transaction advisory, and corporate finance services, Mike has managed both local and cross-border IPOs, M&As;, financial due diligence, valuation, fund-raising and corporate restructuring exercises. As the founder and CEO of McCoy Group of Companies, he oversees the strategic direction for each business unit: Advisory & Consultancy, Technology & Digital, and Supply Chain & Distribution. The company is headquartered in Singapore, with offices around Asia, and operates globally. Mike holds a Masters degree in Business Admin from Aalto University School of Business, and an undergraduate degree in Business Admin from University of West London. He also holds the Executive Diploma in Directorship from SMU-SID.
